The electric DeLorean conversion kit is an exceptional meld of motor and machine. The kit has been designed to retain the same overall weight and the same weight distribution as the original car, but with more than twice the power and torque it gains the sports car performance that its looks demand. The DeLorean was designed as a cool USA cruiser. The Electrogenic drop-in kit makes it a true sports car.
The motor, inverter, charger, cooling system and rear battery box bolt in to the original engine mounts. A small additional battery pack is fitted in place of the fuel tank, leaving the cavernous luggage space under the hood (bonnet!) untouched. The kit comes with custom drive shafts and the control system supports different drive modes (e.g. sport, eco and town).
An electric Delorean, powered by Electrogenic, is simply mind-blowing.

This conversion maintains the weight of the original car (+/- 30kg) and does not require the rest of the vehicle to be uprated.

A limited number of kits will be installed at our workshop in Kidlington.
